BARABAI (TABIRkota) — The Regent of Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST), H Aulia Oktafiandi received an award from the Governor of South Kalimantan (Kalsel), H Sahbirin Noor for his success in encouraging development so that in the local district there are no more underdeveloped villages and very underdeveloped villages.
H Aulia Oktafiandi said that he received an award from the Governor of South Kalimantan, H Sahbirin Noor at the Zero Kilometer Monument in Banjarmasin on Wednesday (14/8).
“This award is the result of cooperation and collaboration between various parties and all elements of HST society,” he said in Barabai, the capital of HST, on Thursday (15/8).
Thanks to this commitment and hard work, he said, all villages in HST have achieved independent, advanced, and developing status.
“In HST there are no more villages with underdeveloped status, so that community welfare grows and develops,” he said.
Head of the HST Village Community Empowerment (PMD) Service, Eddy Rahmawan, added that starting in 2024 there will be no more underdeveloped or very underdeveloped villages.
“One of these achievements is the result of the Meratus Expedition led by HST Regent H Aulia Oktafiandi and all his staff in 2023,” he added.
Based on 2024 Development Village Index (IDM) data, HST is the district with the highest Independent Village status in South Kalimantan with a total of 93 villages.
