BARABAI (TABIRKota) — The District Government (Pemkab) of Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST), South Kalimantan (Kalsel) has again achieved the title of Fair Without Exceptions (WTP) from the Indonesian Financial Audit Agency (BPK).
This predicate was received by the Regent of HST, H Aulia Oktafiandi for the Audit Results Report (LHP) on the 2023 Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) at the South Kalimantan BPK Representative Office, Banjarbaru, Tuesday (7/5).
The success of achieving the WTP title is the result of hard work and good cooperation between the government and the community, said H Aulia Oktafiandi.
“This WTP is the third since I served as Regent,” he said.
Head of the BPK Representative for South Kalimantan, Rahmadi, said that the LKPD examination was carried out by Law Number 15 of 2004 and Law Number 15 of 2016.
“The Indonesian BPK has examined the financial reports for the 2023 fiscal year from 13 regencies/cities throughout South Kalimantan,” he said.
Based on the results of the examination, he said, the preparation of the HST Regency Government’s financial reports had been presented fairly, by SAP and accounting principles so that it was given the WTP predicate.
“With this WTP opinion, it is hoped that each district government can work hard and be committed to improving the quality of regional financial management and responsibility,” he said.
By achieving the WTP, the HST Regency Government is expected to continue to manage finances professionally, and transparently, providing programs with outputs and outcomes that bring prosperity to the community.
