BARABAI (TABIRKota) — The Regent of Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST), South Kalimantan (Kalsel), H Aulia Oktafiandi gave an exemplary example to the community by working together to clean up rubbish at the Barabai Traditional Market, Friday (17/5).
According to H Aulia Oktafiandi, this activity was within the framework of Clean Friday to provide solutions and role models for the community to protect regional government assets.
“We will carry out cleaning activities together with the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) regularly every Friday,” he said.
Based on reports, he said, the thing that people complained about the most was the rubbish problem.
“One of the areas where there are lots of complaints about rubbish is the Barabai Traditional Market,” he said.
Clean Friday, he added, is a form of regional government attention and program in realizing the vision and mission of HST which is prosperous, superior, and dynamic.
“Don’t just clean up when you want to achieve Adipura, but we make the Clean Friday program a routine cooperation for all SKPDs,” he added.
In this activity, which is carried out every Friday, cleaning will be carried out in areas assessed for waste management based on incoming reports.
