BARABAI (TABIRkota) — The Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) Regency Government (Pemkab), South Kalimantan (Kalsel) received the Child-Friendly Region appreciation.
The appreciation was presented by the Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA), Bintang Puspayoga to the Deputy Regent of HST, H Mansyah Sabri at The Tribrata Dharmawangsa Jakarta, Wednesday (11/9).
The Deputy Regent of HST, H Mansyah Sabri said that the award was a motivation to do better in the future.
“Make the award a spur to work even harder,” he said.
A goal, he said, will be easier to achieve if the community and related stakeholders participate.
“We are proud because not all regencies/cities receive the award,” he said.
Through the award, it is hoped that regional heads can raise motivation and increase electability.
In addition to the Minister of PPPA, the award ceremony was attended by important figures, such as former Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla and Budiono, and several Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
